I am a proud wife and mom of three spirited young men. In addition to beginning my own photography business I have been fortunate enough to be able to pursue other passions - running, and learning to play Scruggs-style banjo on my Gibson five-string. I have run a number of half marathons and am currently training for a fall (full) marathon. My family's interest in music has led me down some interesting paths, indeed. One son plays fiddle, which in turn has connected me with some wonderful friends in the bluegrass community, both in California and elsewhere. I have spent time at banjo camps in Nashville, Tennessee and fiddle contests all over. Here's the best part - I have been able to combine my interests and have had the chance to photograph a number of bands for their websites, promotional posters and cd covers.

I am blessed to be able to continue learning and improving my photography and truly enjoy working with each subject. Each person carries with them their own spirit and inner beauty - finding that single moment when they present themselves and capturing that image is one of my greatest joys.
